H. Ken Cordell

H. Ken Cordell began as a research assistant at the Southeastern Forest Experiment Station in Asheville, NC, from 1966-1967, and in 1967 was promoted to research social scientist. From 1971-1976 he was coordinator of research and on the faculty of recreation economics at NC State University. In 1976, he came back to the Forest Service as a project leader in Clemson, SC. A year later, he was asked to become project leader in Athens, GA, and has been in Athens since that move in 1977.
