Sagamore Publishing currently has one open position.
The Sales Coordinator is responsible for promoting Sagamore’s growing book collection, increasing adoptions, and creating new accounts. This position will serve as the primary contact for educators who need assistance, and drive sales by promoting existing and upcoming books. This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits.
- Provide account assistance and book recommendations to educators
- Cold calling and e-mailing educators about new releases
- Following up on desk copy requests and adoption reports
- Implementing sales plans
- Assist with additional projects as needed
A four-year degree is preferred. Sales experience is required. Experience should include, but not be limited to, account management, sales calling, and customer service. Preferences will be given to those with business, marketing, or leisure, sports, and tourism degrees. Applicants must be able to handle multiple projects with deadlines, prioritize daily tasks, and be goal oriented. Applicants need to be self-motivated, have initiative, and be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite. Some travel may be involved.
